For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The Vessel is insured under the Operator's insurance company's conditions. Insured damage that is not reported immediately to the insurer is not recognised, and the Charterer is then personally liable for the full damage.

You shouldn't leave port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be over Beaufort 7 (about 30 knots), if visibility is poor, or if harbour authorities have banned sailing. We ask you to sail only in safe weather conditions.

Tell us immediately and, after an accident, record what happened and get a written certificate from a harbour master, physician or official. Get our consent before arranging any repair. Repairs for normal wear and tear are refunded against receipts at the end of the charter.
