Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Comprehensive insurance covers damages exceeding the deposit amount, and liability insurance covers damage to third parties. The operator recommends that the charterer take out travel cancellation insurance and deposit insurance.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 55 HP engine burns roughly 8 L/h — about €15 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Pets are not allowed on the vessel. If you have a special case, ask us before booking, because an exception needs our approval.

The boat is for recreational sailing only. You can't sublet it, hand it to third parties, or sail at night in unsafe weather. The outboard motor is for emergencies only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You can sail within the territorial waters of Croatia. If you want to go beyond them, you'll need our written confirmation first.

Only the people on your crew list may be on board. Taking more persons than listed is not allowed.

Contact us right away, along with the port authority or a doctor if needed, and write up what happened. Repairs above EUR 100 need our approval and must be done by professionals. Keep the invoice that describes the work.
