Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~108 HP engines burn roughly 8.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 181 L ≈ €306 at €1.69/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.

A recognised sailing licence such as an ICC or IYT qualification is required, together with an adequate sailing résumé.

Sailing is limited to the inner islands of the Seychelles. Taking the boat outside this area without our written consent makes you liable for any financial and legal consequences.

No, night navigation is not allowed during your charter.

Yes. You'll need to show valid qualifications and we may ask you to provide proof of your experience before you set off.

Please return the boat in the same condition you received it. Extra cleaning fees from around 100 euros apply for things like fish blood, ash from smoking, grill grease, heavy sand, soaked upholstery, or sunscreen stains, so a quick tidy-up before handover saves you money.

Yes. Any items you've rented from other sources must be returned to where you hired them, otherwise we'll return them for you for a 100 euro fee. You're also responsible for any damage those rented items cause to the boat.
