Accommodating up to 10 guests in 4 double cabins, 2 forward skipper cabins, and an extra convertible double bed in the saloon, the DH550 offers generous space for everyone on board. She features two helm stations for easy navigation and was upgraded in 2025 with an additional outside helm station, where up to five people can enjoy the stunning views while sailing. Unwind in the expansive aft lounge, shaded cockpit, or on the rooftop — the perfect place to admire breathtaking sunsets. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: Deposit insurance offered
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~104 HP engines burn roughly 8.3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 174 L ≈ €294 at €1.69/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Seychelles?
A recognised sailing licence such as an ICC or IYT qualification is required, together with an adequate sailing résumé.
Where are we allowed to sail?
Sailing is limited to the inner islands of the Seychelles. Taking the boat outside this area without our written consent makes you liable for any financial and legal consequences.
Is night sailing permitted?
No, night navigation is not allowed during your charter.
Do you check our sailing experience?
Yes. You'll need to show valid qualifications and we may ask you to provide proof of your experience before you set off.
What condition should the boat be in when we return it?
Please return the boat in the same condition you received it. Extra cleaning fees from around 100 euros apply for things like fish blood, ash from smoking, grill grease, heavy sand, soaked upholstery, or sunscreen stains, so a quick tidy-up before handover saves you money.
Do I need to return any rented equipment myself?
Yes. Any items you've rented from other sources must be returned to where you hired them, otherwise we'll return them for you for a 100 euro fee. You're also responsible for any damage those rented items cause to the boat.
