Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The vessel is insured under the insurance company's conditions. Insurance covers damages (subject to the franchise/excess) caused by weather or natural disasters, but not damage done on purpose.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 730 HP engine burns roughly 110 L/h — about €206 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Unfortunately not. Pets such as dogs, cats and birds are not allowed on the vessel.

Yes. You can't use it commercially, sublet it, race it without our written consent, or tow or be towed except in an emergency. Smoking on board carries a EUR 500 fee, and you must stay within the designated waters, keep under 20 knots and spend nights in harbour.

We aren't responsible for weather during your charter, so plan your return with it in mind. Bad weather doesn't excuse a late return, and if you have to bring the boat back to a different marina you cover the transport costs plus a EUR 500 penalty. The dinghy should not be used in bad weather.

We can decline to hand the yacht over if we judge the skipper unfit to operate it, for example because of alcohol or drugs. In that case we can assign you one of our skippers, at your cost. You can also ask for a skipper from the start.

Tell us immediately so we can arrange help. For us to carry out a repair, the boat needs to be at a location we can reach on the coast. If the problem comes from improper use, the costs are yours, but normal wear and tear is not.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
