Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?

Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.

Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Can I reschedule my charter to another date?

Yes. If you reschedule before paying the balance, there is no rescheduling fee. After the balance is paid, rescheduling is still possible for a €300 charge.
