Cullipool Anchorage

Cullipool is a wonderfully remote anchorage on the Isle of Luing, tucked into the slate-village coastline of the Garvellachs approaches. You're anchoring off a tiny working community where the old slate quarrying heritage is still visible in the distinctive grey-stone buildings along the shore. Cullipool's visitor centre and café are a short walk away, and a small post office shop is also on the island, making this more than just a pretty stop — though the scenery alone, with views toward the Firth of Lorn, is reason enough to linger.
