Anse des Vieilles
Drop anchor in the largest cove on the island's wild southwest coast, where the rugged Côte Sauvage gives way to a surprisingly accessible anchorage in 7–10m. The beach here is a great base for sea kayaking, canoeing, and Polynesian outrigger paddling, and you get a lovely view across to the Pointe des Corbeaux to the east. It's a wilder, more adventurous corner of Yeu than the main port, but the anchorage itself is calm and straightforward.
