Baia di Pittulongu

Drop anchor in Baia di Pittulongu just north of Olbia, where a long sandy shore (pittulongu literally means 'long beach' in local dialect) stretches out in front of you with the granite hills of Gallura as your backdrop. It's a relaxed, unhurried spot — close enough to Olbia for a quick run ashore but far enough to feel like you've escaped the city entirely. The bay offers reasonable shelter and clear, shallow water that makes it a favourite on this stretch of the Costa Smeralda hinterland.
