Calanque du Maure

Calanque du Maure is a wild anchorage on the western side of Porquerolles, the largest of the three Îles d'Hyères, where you drop the hook in strikingly clear turquoise water surrounded by rocky, pine-covered coastline. There are no facilities here — just the raw natural setting that makes Porquerolles so special. The island's network of hiking and cycling trails is accessible from shore, and the protected marine environment means the underwater scenery is well worth a snorkel.
