Capo Faro

Drop anchor off the island of Salina and you're looking up at Capofaro, a refined estate wrapped in vineyards and perched dramatically above the Tyrrhenian Sea. It's part of the Aeolian archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site shaped by ancient volcanism, and the setting here is genuinely hard to beat. The combination of terraced vines, whitewashed buildings, and open sea views gives the place an almost suspended, otherworldly feel. Salina itself is one of the greener, quieter Aeolian islands, worth exploring beyond the anchorage.
