Cavallo

Cavallo is a small, mostly uninhabited island sitting at the southern tip of Corsica, just a short hop from Sardinia in the Strait of Bonifacio. You anchor off in clear, shallow waters surrounded by granite rocks and scrubby Mediterranean vegetation — it's raw and quiet in a way that feels genuinely off the beaten path. The island has a handful of private villas but no real infrastructure, so the appeal is almost entirely the setting itself: turquoise water, dramatic rocky shoreline, and that sense of being between two countries at once.
