Gärdesviken

Gärdesviken is a quietly tucked-away anchorage in the Värmdö archipelago near Gustavsberg, where you drop the hook in a shallow, sheltered bay. It's right on the doorstep of Artipelag, the striking art museum built into the rocky shoreline — worth a dinghy trip ashore if you can manage the shallows. Hiking trails wind through the surrounding forest, so there's plenty to explore beyond the water.
