Hemmeland Marina

Hemmeland is the flagship location of Jachthaven Waterland, sitting on the Markermeer just outside the historic harbour town of Monnickendam — one of the best-preserved old towns in the Netherlands. With around 650 berths on modern floating jetties, this is one of the largest full-service marinas on the inland waters north of Amsterdam. Monnickendam itself is worth the trip alone, with its 15th-century church, traditional smokehouses, and easy access to the wider Waterland nature reserve.
