Isola Rossa Anchorage

Isola Rossa is a quietly charming anchorage off a small, well-preserved fishing village on Sardinia's northwest coast, where the distinctive red granite rocks give the place its name and make for a striking backdrop. Holding is generally good in settled conditions, though like most spots along this stretch of coast it's best suited to calm, stable weather rather than overnight stays in a blow. Once you're settled on the hook, it's an easy dinghy ride into a compact little harbour with restaurants and bars, and some excellent beaches within easy reach.
