Palaiopoli Beach

Paleopolis Beach is the largest beach on the island of Kythira, stretching out in a mix of sand and smooth pebbles with famously clear, deep-blue water. You anchor off here and come ashore to a beach that's partly organised but with plenty of free, open space to spread out. It's a raw, unspoilt kind of place — no beach bar, so bring your own supplies, but that's also what keeps it relaxed and uncrowded.
