Parker Island Reach

Parker Island Reach is an anchorage along the Wando River near Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where you drop the hook off the island's edge in a classic Lowcountry tidal estuary. The surrounding marsh and creek system, including nearby Horlbeck Creek, gives it that wild, undeveloped feel you don't always find this close to Charleston. Tidal ranges here run over 6 feet, so keep a close eye on your swing and depth as the water moves.
