Tangalooma wrecks
Drop anchor off the western side of Moreton Island and you're floating above 15 deliberately scuttled ships, settled on the seafloor since the 1960s–80s and now home to a thriving artificial reef. The wrecks shimmer just below the surface, making this one of Queensland's most accessible snorkeling spots straight from your boat. Tangalooma Island Resort is right there on shore if you want to head in for a meal or supplies.
