Pecorini Mare

Pecorini a Mare is one of Filicudi's three main villages, tucked on the island's southern coast in the Aeolian archipelago — you anchor off and take in one of the most genuinely unspoiled corners of Sicily. The village is small, unhurried, and classically Aeolian, with whitewashed houses stepping down to the waterfront and locals who actually live here year-round. From the water, it's a striking scene, and it's worth rowing ashore to wander the lanes and grab a bite at one of the handful of simple spots by the sea.
