Plage d'Arone

Drop anchor off Plage d'Arone, one of Corsica's most stunning west-coast beaches, tucked a few kilometres from Piana near the Gulf of Porto and the UNESCO-listed Scandola reserve. You'll find a wide sweep of pale sand meeting crystal-clear turquoise water, framed by the dramatic red granite landscape the region is famous for. A handful of laid-back restaurants sit right on the beach, so it's worth timing a swim with lunch ashore.
