Port de Piraillan
4.3 (4 reviews)
Port de Piraillan is the second largest marina on the Atlantic Coast, with around 2,700 moorings tucked into the Arcachon Basin halfway between the open ocean and the oyster villages. Since 2007, a dedicated heritage quay has preserved the Basin's traditional wooden boats — worth a slow walk along the dock. The surrounding waters and reed beds draw serious wildlife, with cormorants, bass, mullet, and sea bream practically in the shadow of your mooring.
