Port de plaisance

Palavas-les-Flots is a lively little seaside resort just south of Montpellier, and its marina stretches along the canal that cuts right through the heart of town, giving the whole place a distinctive split-village feel with the sea at one end and the lagoon at the other. You'll find moorings spread across more than a hundred berths, split between the Port des Cabanes area and the canal running toward Carnon. The setting is genuinely charming — quayside restaurants, a small beach within walking distance, and the buzz of a real working French resort rather than a purpose-built marina town.
