A kilometre-long promenade runs along the waterfront lined with restaurants, shops, and services, so you've got plenty to explore without going far. It sits at the mouth of the Tiber, making it a solid base if you want to dip into Rome — about 30 minutes away — or explore the Fiumicino coastline.
