The port is naturally sheltered, though keep in mind it's occasionally hit by the rissaga — a rare tidal surge that can dramatically drain and refill the harbour in minutes. Stroll the promenade to watch fishing boats and yachts bobbing side by side, and you're steps away from the medieval old town, one of Menorca's most atmospheric.
