Spiaggia di Santa Margherita

Drop anchor off this long, white-sand beach near San Vito lo Capo and swim ashore to some of the clearest, most unspoiled water in Sicily. The seabed is sandy and shallow, so it's an easy wade in, and the shoreline stretches for kilometres with fine sand mixed with the occasional pebble. It's the kind of place where you'll want to stay longer than planned.
