Uvala Parje

Drop anchor in this quietly tucked bay on the north coast of Hvar island, about 1.5 nautical miles east of Cape Pelegrin. Watch your approach — there's a dangerous shallow rock just north of the entrance. The real draw here is Markova špilja, a neolithic cave hidden in the bay that's been used as shelter since prehistoric times, making this a surprisingly rich stop for a swim and a wander.
