Veli Rat Anchorage

Drop anchor off the northwestern tip of Dugi Otok, where the iconic lighthouse at Veli Rat — one of the tallest on the Adriatic — gives you a memorable landmark to wake up to. The holding is generally good on sand, and you're well sheltered from the prevailing summer winds here. It's a quiet, unhurried spot with a small settlement nearby where you can stretch your legs and grab a drink.
