Belize Bank is the largest commercial bank in the country, so if you need to handle money matters while in Placencia, this is your most reliable option. Note that the branch relocated next door after closing its original location in late 2021, so don't be thrown off if the address seems slightly off from older maps. ATM access here is handy since cash is still king for a lot of transactions in town.
