Fort Louis is St. Martin's largest historical monument, perched above Marigot Bay with 360-degree views of the bay, the town, and all the way to Anguilla. Getting there means climbing a solid set of stairs, but the payoff is worth every step — sweeping ruins set against a backdrop that's hard to beat. It's a rare combo of genuine history and one of the best panoramas on the island.
