This theatre has a genuinely fascinating backstory — Napoleon himself ordered the conversion of the Carmine Church into this performance space in 1814, and it's been beautifully restored since. Located in the heart of Portoferraio's historic center, it's now dedicated to tenor Renato Cioni and hosts live performances alongside photographic exhibitions that walk you through its rich history. Definitely worth ducking inside even just to soak up the atmosphere.
