Košljun - Monastery, Archaeological Collection and Historical Museum

Just 750 meters offshore from Punat, the tiny islet of Košljun is home to a Franciscan monastery that dates back centuries and houses a genuinely impressive collection under one roof — ethnographic exhibits, folk costumes from the island, a numismatic collection, and an archaeological display. It's one of those rare places where the setting and the history hit equally hard. You can reach it by a short boat ride, and the whole experience feels surprisingly unhurried and off the beaten path.
