Maldives Philatelic Museum

This compact but surprisingly rich museum traces Maldivian history across two floors, from the era of the sultans right through to modern times — all told partly through the country's impressive collection of over 2,000 stamps issued since independence. It's a quirky and underrated way to get a real sense of the islands' past in a short visit. Don't expect a grand institution — the charm is in how much story is packed into such a small space.
