Maiden's Sands

Kızkumu (Maiden's Sands) is one of those places you have to see to believe — a narrow sandbar stretches over half a kilometer into Orhaniye Bay, creating the surreal illusion that you're walking on water. The shelf is only about two meters wide, with noticeably deeper water dropping off on both sides, so the effect is genuinely striking rather than just a photo trick. It's quirky, photogenic, and unlike anything else along this coastline.
