Sa Perda Spampada

Sa Perda Spampada is a natural rock window punched through the red porphyry cliffs on the slopes of Mount Cartucceddu, framing a sweeping view of the Ogliastra coastline like a giant stone portal. It's one of those geological quirks that genuinely stops you in your tracks — the contrast of the rust-colored rock against the blue sea below is striking. You can reach it on foot via hiking trails with a moderate climb of around 600 ft of elevation gain, so wear decent shoes and bring water.
