Cala Niedda

3.9 (7 reviews)

Cala Niedda is a wild, rocky bay on Sardinia's rugged Ogliastra coast, reachable by both sea and a short trail through the macchia scrubland from Villaggio Zinnibiri. You can anchor in the bay entrance in around 6m over sand, though watch for submerged boulders sitting just 1–2m below the surface — lay out plenty of chain to stay clear. The setting is classic unspoiled Sardinia: craggy granite, crystal-clear water, and very little in the way of facilities, so come self-sufficient.
