This 4th-century BC Greco-Roman theatre is carved right into the southern slopes of Mount Göktepe in the heart of the city — and it's the only surviving Classical-era structure in Bodrum. Originally built during the reign of Mausolus, it still hosts live concerts and performances today, with sightlines and acoustics that hold up remarkably well for a 2,400-year-old venue. Catch a show here if you can — there aren't many places in the world where you can watch live music inside ancient history.
