Üsküdar Musahipzade Celal Sahnesi

This is Üsküdar's own Istanbul City Theatre stage, named after the famous Ottoman playwright Musahipzade Celal. The building has been serving the neighborhood since the 1960s, though it was torn down and fully rebuilt in 2009, and seats 341 people — intimate enough that there's not a bad spot in the house. If you're on the Asian side and want a proper night of Turkish theatre, this is the local go-to.
