This spot is a genuine piece of BVI history — dating back to 1794, it's the oldest building in Road Town and served as the territory's main prison until 1997. Now converted into a museum, it gives you a rare and surprisingly compelling look at colonial-era justice and island life over two centuries. Worth a stop if you're poking around Road Town and want something more than just shops.
