De Chirico Square

Πλατεία Ντε Κίρικο is a public square in Magnesia named after the renowned Greek-Italian surrealist painter Giorgio de Chirico, who was born in Volos in 1888. There's something fittingly poetic about a plaza honoring the artist whose dreamlike, shadow-drenched cityscapes were said to be inspired by his Greek hometown. It's a great spot to pause and soak up a bit of local cultural pride in the heart of the region.
