About this boat

The BALI 4.2 is recognizable at first glance thanks to the new design of her hulls with thin bows and her new elegant lines signed Xavier Faÿ. The BALI 4.2 benefits from all the innovations signed by Catana Group which are the DNA of the BALI: the rigid forward cockpit with lounge area and sunbathing areas, the platform connecting the transoms with large bench seat and lockers, the large BALI tilting door and side sliding bay windows, a helm station with a panoramic relaxation area on the coachroof accessible from both sides, without forgetting the interior access door to the forward cockpit. And of course, the safety and performance you would expect from a CATANA design!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: All catamarans insured covering Hull and equipment, Third Party Liability, Personal Accident and Damages with deductible equal to security deposit
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~90 HP engines burn roughly 7.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 151 L ≈ €294 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
What's included with the boat?
Your charter includes the boat and all its equipment, a dinghy with outboard engine, one set of bed linen, towels and a blanket per cabin per week, cooking gas for the kitchen and BBQ, a can of fuel for the dinghy, and the first and last night marina fees.
Can I hire a skipper or hostess?
Yes. A skipper is available at 200 euro per day and a hostess/cook at 180 euro per day, in both cases plus provisioning. Optional extras such as a stand-up paddleboard, WiFi and extra linen can also be arranged.
What experience do I need to charter the boat?
Under Greek law one person must hold a valid sailing licence in English (or translated into English), and a second person must be declared as co-skipper with relevant experience or a self-declaration for the Port Authorities. If the authorities reject either, we may require you to hire a professional skipper at your cost.
Is smoking allowed on board?
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the yachts.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome but must be under the direct supervision of a parent or another adult on the guest list at all times.
