Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All yachts are fully insured and inspected yearly by an International Registry of Shipping. They carry third-party liability cover at or above the Greek legal minimum.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~114 HP engines burn roughly 9.1 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 191 L ≈ €372 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes, you can add a professional skipper, a hostess or both, whether you hold a licence or simply want a more relaxing trip. Each needs their own cabin and meals, and the fees are agreed in writing beforehand. The skipper's fee must be paid in full when you board.

We may require you to take a skipper if there are doubts about your sailing skills when you board. We can also decline a licence that the Greek Port Authorities don't accept, and a Day Skipper licence is not accepted. Check your qualification with us before you book.

End cleaning is covered by the mandatory extras fee, so you don't need to scrub the boat. The same fee also covers cooking gas, water, one linen set per person and harbour fees for your first and last night in Alimos.

You're responsible for bringing the yacht back to the agreed place and time, and the yacht must be at the base by 18:00 the evening before disembarkation. Late returns bring extra charges as set out in your Charter Party Agreement.

Contact the base as soon as the problem arises. Claims can only be negotiated if you reported the issue during the charter and raise the claim within 14 days of the charter ending.
