About this boat

Short hops between pine-lined bays off Ece Marina mean mornings on the efoil before the afternoon breeze fills in, then a quiet anchorage and a line out at dusk. Two couples or a family split cabins easily, with nobody forced onto a town quay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The operator guarantees the boat is insured for the rental period, including a financial liability clause. Private articles, lost equipment and articles, persons on board, the inflatable boat and the outboard engine are not covered.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~29 HP engine burns roughly 2.3 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 48 L ≈ €72 at €1.50/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in Turkey?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.
Can I bring my dog or other pets on board?
Unfortunately not. Carrying animals on board is forbidden under our terms.
Are there limits on how I can use the boat?
Yes. The boat can't be used commercially or to carry people or goods for payment. Racing or wagering needs our written approval, and towing another boat is only allowed in an emergency. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins, and mangal (Turkish-style barbecue) parties are not allowed on board.
Where am I allowed to sail?
You can sail Turkish waters, from Antalya up to Izmir/Cesme. If you'd like to go beyond Turkish waters, you need our written approval before the charter starts, and you'll have to clear in and out properly.
What sailing experience does my crew need?
You'll need to show a skipper certificate or licence, and we may test your skills as skipper. If we feel more experience is needed, we can appoint an assistant or another skipper at your cost. The boat stays in the marina until one is found. If you have no qualified skipper, we can provide one.
Can anyone join us on board?
Only the people on your crew list and the official Transit Log can be on board. Send us everyone's details before the charter, and any change needs a new Transit Log. Otherwise you risk Coast Guard penalties and a sailing ban.
When is the best time to sail in Turkey?
April–October along the Turquoise Coast (Bodrum, Göcek, Fethiye); hot, dry summers with gentle afternoon breezes ideal for cruising.
