Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The boat is mandatorily insured for damage to third parties. The hull insurance policy covers all damages except those resulting from force majeure, with a deductible of 1,550 EUR.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~55 HP engine burns roughly 4.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 92 L ≈ €172 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You need to stay within Croatian territorial waters throughout your charter.

Night sailing is fine in safe weather conditions as long as someone keeps watch on deck. You shouldn't leave port or anchorage if the wind is above Beaufort 6 (30 knots) or if the harbor authorities have banned sailing.

The boat is for your own leisure cruising. You can't sublet or lend it, enter regattas, or use it commercially, for professional fishing or as a sailing school.

We may ask you to demonstrate that you can handle and navigate the boat safely, with us or a representative aboard. If it doesn't go well, we may end the agreement or put a skipper aboard at your expense for as many days as we think necessary for safety.

Write down what happened, get a written certificate from the harbor master, a physician or the authorities, and tell us straight away. Please also check the engine oil every day, since damage from low oil is the charterer's responsibility.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
