Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Compulsory Passenger Insurance and Compulsory Third Party Insurance included. Personal property not covered.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~51 HP engine burn roughly 4.1 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 86 L ≈ €159 at €1.85/L — scale it to your own plans.

A valid sailing licence is required for any charter, and a VHF radio certificate is commonly requested as well.

Your rate covers use of the boat and its equipment, bed linen, the dinghy, gas, autopilot, GPS, wifi on board, and mooring in the home port. Fuel, port taxes, and mooring in other ports are not included.

You can, but please let us know as early as possible and in writing no later than 45 days before your trip so we can arrange the necessary cover. Any related costs would be charged to you.

For minor wear-and-tear repairs you may arrange the work yourself up to EUR 150 and we'll reimburse it on return. Please report any major damage or breakdown to us right away and follow our instructions; unreported damage is treated as your responsibility.

Yes. Please tell us when you confirm your booking so we can arrange it. Note that if we provide the skipper, the deposit can't be used to cover damage caused by the skipper's own negligence.
