Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~53 HP engine burn roughly 4.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 88 L ≈ €172 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The yacht is for your private pleasure only. Racing is not allowed unless agreed in advance with racing insurance paid, and towing another craft (except in emergency) and subletting are not permitted. Your party should include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member.

You may sail within Greek waters only, unless we give written consent otherwise. Please plan your route to reach the farthest point within the first third of the charter, and be within 40 nautical miles of the return point two days before the end.

For safety, please do not leave port if the authorities have banned sailing, if the yacht has unrepaired damage or low fuel, or whenever conditions or the state of the yacht or crew are doubtful. Do not sail at night without all navigation lights working, and only sail areas your charts cover well.

For any repair that is not normal wear and tear, please get our consent first on the cost and suitability of the work. Keep the receipts for wear-related repairs and we will refund you at the end of the charter. Report any accident or damage to the nearest port authority and to us at the same time.

Please return the yacht with all equipment in the same good condition as at take-over, to the agreed place, date and time. A late return incurs demurrage at the daily charter price plus 50 percent for each day until she is back, and returning her to a different place means covering the cost of bringing her home.
