Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and her equipment as required by Greek law, against fire, marine and collision risks, third-party damage and loss or damage generally.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~110 HP engine burns roughly 8.8 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 185 L ≈ €361 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

The boat is for your party's private pleasure only. You can't race it (unless agreed in advance with a Racing Risk insurance), tow other craft except in an emergency, or sublet it without our written consent. Fishing and customs laws must be respected and you may not take archaeological objects.

You must stay within the Greek seas. We also ask you to plan your route so that you reach your farthest port within the first third of the charter and are within 40 nautical miles of the return point two days before the end.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your competence by sailing the boat with one of our representatives aboard. If we're not satisfied, we may place a skipper aboard at your expense or end the agreement.

Only the people on your crew/passenger manifest may stay aboard, and the total at sea can't exceed the number stated in your Charter Conditions.

Please don't leave port if the harbour authorities have banned sailing or if conditions make safety doubtful. If weather makes you late back, the late-return charge still applies, so plan a safe buffer before your return day.
