About this boat
Out of Jezera the maestral fills in reliably by midday, force 3-4, giving friends short island-to-island hops with a town quay to aim for most nights. The double spinnaker sheets mean whoever's keen can actually fly one downwind without fuss.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Client bears all costs for damage not related to natural wear and tear, including gross negligence and loss of parts.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
Will you check that I can handle the boat?
Yes. We may ask you or your designated skipper to demonstrate your sailing knowledge and skills in front of our representative. If we find your experience or licence insufficient, we'll assign an official skipper for an extra fee, and if you decline we may stop the boat from departing.
Where can I sail and how far?
You must sail within Croatian territorial waters; leaving them requires our prior written consent. Please plan your route so that your turning point back toward the departure harbour is no more than two days' sailing away, roughly 40 nautical miles.
Can I bring a pet on board?
Pets such as dogs, cats or birds are only allowed by prior agreement, so please ask us before booking; otherwise they are not permitted.
What uses of the boat are not allowed?
You can't use the boat commercially, for professional fishing or as a sailing school, sublet it or hand it to a third party, carry more people than the boat is registered for or anyone not on the crew list, or take part in regattas without our consent.
Are there weather or night-sailing rules?
Please don't leave harbour or anchorage when the wind is, or is expected to become, above about 23 knots, in unstable weather, or when authorities have banned sailing. When sailing at night you must use all navigation lights and keep proper deck watch.
