Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.
Do I need a sailing licence in Greece?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.
Can I bring my dog on board?
Yes, we're pet friendly. An extra cleaning cost will be added to your charter when pets come along.
Can I book a short charter or a one-way cruise?
Our listed rates apply to charters of 7 days or more. Shorter charters and one-way cruises are available on request, so just ask us.
Can I change crew during my charter?
Yes, in certain places. Crew changes are free at Lavrion, and cost EUR 100 at Mykonos, Paros, Ios or Kos. No other locations are available for crew changes.
