Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Vessel provided with kasko (hull) insurance for Mediterranean covering total loss with deductible covered by guest's security deposit. Third-party liability insurance mandatory per applicable law.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~30 HP engine burn roughly 2.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 50 L ≈ €98 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

The skipper needs a valid sailing licence and VHF certificate, ideally issued by their country of residence (an ICC is widely accepted).

No, animals are not allowed on board at any time.

The boat is strictly for private leisure and diving use. You may not transport goods or paying passengers, take part in regattas or other nautical events, or use the boat for any commercial activity, and you must respect the minimum and maximum number of people on board.

You must respect any port authority bans for bad weather or danger at sea, and you must not sail in seas above force 5 or whenever forecasts warn of dangerous conditions. Plan your itinerary so you can return on time, bringing the boat back early if bad weather is expected.

Yes. The detailed nautical charts we provide cover only the recommended cruising area, chosen with the size of the boat and the available ports in mind. If you plan to sail beyond it, you must equip yourself with detailed charts for those waters. We also ask you to contact us at least once a week to report your position.

Notify us immediately, and only continue sailing if it will not worsen the damage or endanger people or the boat. You may not carry out any repairs without our authorization, and assistance can only be expected between 8:00 and 20:00.

May–October, warm and settled in summer; July–August are hottest and busiest, with afternoon thermal breezes common.
