About this boat

We present you the Flyer 828, the star of our summer trips and sea transfers, with a fantastic price-to-quality ratio. This sporty 9-meter speedboat has a covered seating area in the back and a lovely sun deck in its front part. It runs smoothly and effectively with the help of a 250 HP Honda motor, making island hopping around Hvar super exciting! If you forgot your snorkeling mask and want to dive into the clear blue Adriatic sea, you may borrow one from the boat. Also, there is an icebox where you may chill your drinks and keep your snacks.

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 250 HP engine burn roughly 38 L/h — about €71 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
