Port of Hvar

The Port of Hvar puts you right in the heart of one of Croatia's most celebrated island towns, with the old town's medieval streets and UNESCO-listed Renaissance square just steps from the dock. It's a compact marina with a handful of bars and shops along the waterfront, so don't expect sprawling facilities — but the electric atmosphere of Hvar Town more than makes up for it. Ferry connections run regularly from here to Split and the surrounding islands, making it a solid base for exploring the Dalmatian coast.
